Reading is very important to a child has educational development. Reading a book with your child on a daily basis can create enjoyable memories that will foster a lifelong love of learning. Reading helps to build vocabulary and spelling skills as well. Help your child select books from the public library on a weekly basis. Sign up for a summer reading program if your local library has one as well. Make sure your child is involved in the selection process for best results and get some books for yourself to act as a role model for your child.
Designate a wall just for your child has art work and make a simple bulletin board. Make a background in a contrasting color from the wall itself where you can attach your child has pictures, paintings, color or worksheets etc. so that their work will stand out. Use letter cutouts to write your child has name on the background. You can change the theme to go along with the season/holiday etc. Put your child has art work in frames. You can either buy inexpensive wooden frames from a retail store or get craftier and buy unfinished frames that you and your child can decorate together. Make mats from construction or craft paper for extra flair. These also make great little gift ideas for grandparents and other family members. Put your child has name and age on the front left corner so everyone will know the artist.
Most budgeting programs do not accommodate for your financial goals, they simply look back at the previous month to help you determine your spend for the current month. That is not good budgeting. If you have a cash flow problem, then it will just perpetuate into future months and you will not even realize it is happening. Furthermore, you are not creating a plan to achieve your goals. An excellent budgeting worksheet will accommodate for your financial goals and help you determine what you can afford or what it will take to meet those goals. It will take into account your income, current debt, expenses and savings to help you generate a plan to meet your goals.
